Aroma: Fresh, dry-woody, warm, spicy, somewhat sharp like that of ground Black Pepper.

Black Pepper essential oil is used in minute quantities in perfumery to pique the interest with the opening (top) notes of the perfume and to add depth to the overall composition.

Basil, Bergamot, Cardamom, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Coriander, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Lime, Mandarin, Marjoram, Nutmeg, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rose, Rosemary, Sage, Sandalwood & Ylang Ylang.
Black Pepper essential oil “gives interesting effects … in Floral like & Rose bases, in Oriental fragrances, or in modern, dry-aldehydic bases, ambres [sic], etc. The effect in a Rose base is particularly interesting.”1.
Recommended use:
Perfumers use it to add a warm, spicy note; In massage Black Pepper Oil is useful in improving circulation; skin care, blends, burners, soaps and candles.

Easy Recipe:
Anti-inflammatory Massage Oil
Equipment:
50ml bottle & lid or dropper
Bowl for mixing
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Arnica Oil
1 tbsp Sweet Almond Oil
5 drops Black Pepper Essential Oil
2 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil
5 drops Ginger Essential Oil
Method:
Combine all the ingredients together & transfer to sterilised bottle.
Massage into the affected area.
Store in cool, dark place. Will keep for 3-6months.

Apply a 2% dilution behind the ears. Great for meetings, long drives & quick pick-me-up.
