Recommended Use:

Add a teaspoon of honey and squeeze of lemon to your tea and serve hot or over ice.

Add to hot water and allow to cool to room temperature then freeze in ice cube trays. As the ice melts in a cocktail or lemonade for the kids the blue ice will melt to pink!

Make a simple syrup by placing 1 tbs of flowers in 1 cup of boiled water. Add 1 cup of sugar and stir until dissolved and allow to cool. You can strain out the flowers and this colour change syrup will keep in the fridge for a few weeks.

A very interesting tea to try:

  • Add honey and lemon for the traditional Thai welcome drink – nam dok anchan
  • Add 3 teaspoons to a bottle of Gin, Vodka, Tequila or White Rum to make your own blue cocktails which will magically change to pink with the addition of lime juice!
  • Make blue ice by freezing the tea. If you serve these in a lemonade or cocktail they will slowly turn the cocktail pink as the ice melts and changes colour.
