Myrrh oil has a warm, dry, resinous aroma with exotic earthy, balsamic notes.
The oil is popular for meditation & is considered a stimulating oil and has a long historical medicinal presence dating back to 1550 BC.

Aroma: Soft, warm, sweet-smelling, earthy aroma with a light, spicy, slightly medicinal top note with lift; has very good fixative properties.

Blends With:

Benzoin, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Champaca, Cinnamon, Clove Bud, Cypress, Frankincense, Galbaum, Geranium, Ginger, Juniper Berry, Labdanum, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Melissa, Niaouli, Oakmoss, Patchouli, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Pine, Sandalwood, Spearmint & Sweet Orange.

“Myrrh oil is used in small amounts in perfumes of the heavy-floral type, heavy-Oriental type, woody-balsamic bases, etc. and it is excellent in high class forest notes, moss notes, etc., modified with cypress oil, juniper berry oil, mandarin petitgrain oil, etc.”*1.

Care Instructions:

Do not apply directly to the skin or ingest without dilution. May be fetotoxic due to the presence of ß-elemene and furanodiene; avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding.*2. Dilute before using. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.

Easy Recipe

Balancing Facial Toner

This is great for damaged or sensitive skin & balancing an oily complexion.

Equipment:

200ml bottle with atomiser 

Ingredients:

75ml Rose Hydrosol

75ml Neroli Hydrosol

25ml Witch Hazel

25 drops Vegetable Glycerin

10 drops Myrrh Essential Oil

7 drops Melissa Essential Oil

Method:

Combine all the ingredients in a sterilised bottle & shake well before each use.

Store in dark, cool area, our refrigerate.
