Jojoba is technically not an oil, but a liquid wax ester. It looks & acts like an oil but behaves like a wax. In colder months it will solidify.

Benefits:

An excellent carrier oil used in skin care, hair care and blends. Non comedogenic, meaning it doesn't clog pores, Jojoba Oil easily blends in with other ingredients. As a liquid wax, Jojoba resists oxidation & rancidity.

Recommended use:

Its rejuvenating and conditioning properties make it a go to for DIY projects. Jojoba is excellent in skin care, hair care & for blends. Also great in roll on perfume, perfume solids & massage oils.

Easy Recipe:

Botanical Facial Serum

A lightweight moisturiser that penetrates deeper into the skin.

Equipment:

50ml bottle with dropper sterilised.

Ingredients:

28ml Rose Petal Infused Jojoba Oil (see recipe page)

2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

1 drop Helichrysum Essential Oil

1 drop Sandalwood Essential Oil

Method:

Blend essential oils into bottle.

Add Jojoba Oil. Invert a few times to blend.

Use 5-10 drops at night after you wash your face.
